I am currently working directly with all 3 of these powerful women. They are masters in their respective fields!
I released these free grocery-budget guides to help individuals and families in our community stretch their food dollars a little further. By sharing creative meal ideas, practical shopping tips, and simple strategies that actually work, my goal is to make everyday grocery shopping less stressful and more affordable. These guides are offered publicly and at no cost as a way to give back and support our neighbors with tools they can use right away.
Life Outside the Ledger:
I live in the Shenandoah Mountains of Virginia, where life moves a little slower and the air feels a little lighter. I spend my days doing the work I love, and my evenings enjoying life with my three rescue dogs.
When I'm not untangling financials or color-coding spreadsheets, you'll find me watching stand-up comedy, reading anything I can get my hands on, or relaxing in the flower garden.
Balance is everything and I believe your finances should support the life you actually want to live.

Response, Inc. is a Virginia-based nonprofit serving Shenandoah County, dedicated to preventing and addressing domestic and sexual violence while supporting individuals and families affected by abuse. Founded in 1980, the organization offers free and confidential services, including emergency shelter, case management, court advocacy, safety planning, support groups, and community education. Response’s team and board are committed to outreach, advocacy, and prevention, helping survivors of physical, emotional, psychological, sexual, and financial abuse find safety and resources to build resilience. Their work extends beyond direct services, with tailored programs for schools, local organizations, and community partners aimed at raising awareness and breaking cycles of violence.
I serve as the organization’s Treasurer, supporting the board with financial oversight, strategy, and governance.

Lydia's is a nonprofit thrift shop in Strasburg, Virginia, dedicated to serving the local community through affordable clothing, household goods, and meaningful partnerships with other service organizations. Operated entirely by volunteers, its sales help cover operating costs and fuel community support efforts, including donations to local programs for food, shelter, health care, and emergency relief. The board of local residents guides decisions on how best to use proceeds to meet the needs of individuals and families in Shenandoah County.
As Treasurer, I provide financial oversight and stewardship to help the organization maintain transparency, stability, and impact.
